A Custom Experience
When you choose J. Hunter Homes, you will partner with one of the owners every step of the way – from preliminary design, to cost estimates, material selection and the construction process. We only accept a limited number of clients per year. This allows us to maintain high quality in each project while also giving each client the attention they need and deserve.
At J. Hunter, we want to create an exceptional experience from design to completion. Client satisfaction is our ultimate goal, and our dedication to serve you has made us one of the top choices in custom home construction.
We have built in Fulshear, TX: Weston Lakes; Richmond, TX: River Forest and Foster Crossing; Montgomery, TX: High Meadow Estates; Simonton, TX: Valley Lodge; Plantersville, TX: The Cedars; Waller, TX: Saddle Creek Forest; and acreage sites in Fort Bend and surrounding counties. However, we are able to build just about anywhere.
J. Hunter Homes does not currently have a physical model home or sales center. However, we invite you to virtually tour one of our most popular plans, which is fully furnished.

YOUR LOT
Making the financial and emotional commitment to building a custom home is one of life’s greatest decisions and investments. At J. Hunter, we specialize in Build on Your Lot, which allows you to imagine your custom home on acreage or in an established neighborhood/planned community. Below are the phases that we will conduct to prep your land in advance of building on it.
PHASE #1
Site is cleared;
house pad is built
PHASE #2
House pad is complete; form boards are set, plumbing grounds installed
PHASE #3
Foundation inspections complete; concrete is poured
SEMI & FULLY
CUSTOM HOMES
Unlike a traditional inventory home that is often available in new home communities, we offer a tailored approach to your home, allowing you to modify one of our existing plans or develop an entirely new and unique build that fits your family and lifestyle. Semi Custom
With Semi Custom, you’ll get to choose one of our celebrated floor plans. Then, tailor the home to your needs and lifestyles, by making modifications and selecting your own finishes.
Fully Custom
With Fully Custom, you have the option of presenting a plan that you would like us to build, or discuss designing an entirely new and original home.
Partner Design TEAM
We work closely with a Katy, TX-based firm that will faciliate any design changes, requests, and floor plan/elevation renderings.
